Dear friends of Atanas,
In one of his popular hit songs of the 1960’s, Paul McCartney wrote, “the love you get is equal to the love you give”. The love and kindness you have given us during this difficult time surpasses all. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the friends, colleagues and family members who have shared beautiful memories through their letters, video testimonials, as well as dancing, singing and music events. It is very heartening to see what an impact our father has made on folk dancers from all over the world. A particular thank you goes out to those who have sent generous donations which we believe will positively impact folk dance groups and events in the future. Your kind gesture will help keep Atanas' memory forever and inspire future generations of dancers, musicians and researchers. We envision a variety of short and long term projects which could include such activities as concerts, workshops, seminars, tours, etc. to keep alive Atanas’ legacy and to encourage the participation of newer and younger followers. We shall keep you informed of our plans through our Atanas Forever website. We greatly appreciate your participation and support and we hope to have the pleasure of meeting you soon in person.
